LOCATION
All Globasket 2023 experience will take place in different cities of the Costa Brava. Lloret de Mar (Girona, Spain) will be the city where all the participants of the Globasket 2023 will be staying, due to its easy and fast walkthrough access for all the teams.
In addition, we will have other sport arenas in Tossa de Mar, Sils and Vilobí d’Onyar.
Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava, Spain) is the perfect place for the Globasket 2023:
– 1 hour away from Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia
– 30 minutes away from Girona
– Lots of beautiful beaches in the Costa Brava.
– Good weather.
Lloret de Mar offers the best conditions to all the participants and a full range of cultural and leisure activities for everyone.
2022 INFORMATION
FORMATIVE PROGRAM
Globasket is not just an organizer of sport events. We go further and add, in parallel to the competition, a formative program for everyone who participates in the GBK experience.
Our goal is that children learn about everything that complements the world of basketball such as nutrition, academic training, their healthy habits and more.
The formative program has the collaboration of the GASOL FOUNDATION, the EUSES UNIVERSITY of Girona and seminars of US universities, among other companies.
ACCOMMODATION
hotel samba
It is a 3* hotel located in Lloret de Mar, Girona, Spain and is near the sports arenas. The conference program and the Globasket base of operations will be situated in this hotel.
hotel surf mar
It is a 4* hotel located in the heart of Fenals and on the beachfront. Fenals is a quiet area of Lloret de Mar, only a few minutes walking from downtown.
don juan resort
It is a 4* hotel that has a good location near the downtown and the sports arenas. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool perfect to relax after a match.
All these hotels are in LLoret de Mar and they are subjected to changes.
