Lloret de Mar, with its age-old seafaring tradition, is still one of the Costa Brava’s most popular destinations. Beaches and coves bathed in crystal-clear waters come together alongside Lloret’s historical and cultural heritage, not to mention its wide choice of accommodation and leisure options. At the same time, its capacity and infrastructure have made it an important location for sporting activities. The destination, bright and vibrant both day and night, offers a huge range of ideas that will please each and every visitor.

¿What to visit?

SANTA CLOTILDE GARDENS: This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia.

From Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm

Adults: 5 euros / Reduced price: 2,50 Euros (pensioners, youth card holders, student card holders, family card, disabled persons)

MARITIME MUSEUM: This house, a surviving example of the traces of the indianos −those who left for Cuba or the West Indies and came back once they had made their fortune− is one of the few remaining ones in Lloret, together with Casa Font or Can Comadran, right in the heart of the old part of the town.

Monday to Saturday: 9 to 1 pm and 4 to 7 pm. Sunday: 10 to 1 pm and 4 to 7 pm

Adults: 4€ / Reduced: 2€ (pensioners, youth card holders, student card holders, family card, disabled persons)

MODERNIST CEMETERY: Lloret de Mar cemetery preserves traces of the indiano culture. The refurbishment of what was the new cemetery was promoted at the end of the 19th century by a sector of the population who had become rich and the link of the families to which they belonged was often related to the Americas, high-sea trading and the resulting wealth that it created. Open daily from 8am to 8pm.
